Gladstone introduces membership relationship management software

CBR Staff Writer Published 05 November 2008

Gladstone, a provider of software services to the health and leisure market, has introduced its next-generation of web-based membership relationship management software, Orbit Professional.

Gladstone has designed Orbit, by adopting web-based deployment models including hosted services and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

The SaaS model, in particular, reportedly enables potential customers to purchase a transaction based service, minimizing the bureaucracy and capital expenditure associated with software selection. The SaaS deployment model is expected to provide for a wider reach of Gladstone's services and visibility of future earnings as the model is designed to maximize customer choice and retention.

Orbit, which is designed for health club managers internationally, will initially address single-site independent operators' needs for an MRM service without the need to invest heavily in such systems. Orbit enables owners and staff the ability to manage memberships, leaving them time to concentrate on providing  customer service.

Said Ziai, chairman and chief executive of Gladstone, said: The introduction of Orbit has been much anticipated across the industry and we have already received numerous sales enquiries. We believe Orbit will accelerate the consolidation of our position as a leading software provider in the health and leisure market worldwide.
