Systems Vault adds data center space in Portland

Systems Vault, a provider of managed hosting and consulting services, has added data center space in Portland, Oregon.
According to Systems Vault, the expansion is in response to the growing demands of customers to have a geographically dispersed data center location for disaster recovery and business continuity needs. The addition of the Portland facility is expected to allow Systems Vault to manage both primary and failover hosting requirements, including data base and file replication services for customers. The new space is expected to be available for customer installation beginning December 1, 2008.
With this expansion, Systems Vault can offer managed hosting in either Las Vegas or Portland.
Systems Vault's presence in Portland is expected to enhance its capability by providing a geographically dispersed site for those customers who require an alternate site for business continuity. Systems Vault, by managing both the primary and failover sites, can provide the data replication required to facilitate failover and meet a customer's recovery time objectives or continuous availability requirements.
