Castle Rock SNMPc Online

SNMPc Online is an add on module for SNMPc. It provides a web based 'dashboard style' interface for trend reports, device status and event logs.

SNMPc Online provides 'out of the box' automated collection and presentation of pre-canned reports that deliver key network metrics regardless of vendor or geographic location. Seamless dashboard style webpages cover SLA metrics such as availability and latency, device types such as routers, switches and servers and vendor specific information for manufacturers including Cisco.

Using a simple GUI interface SNMPc Online users can easily design or adapt new dashboard views. A wide variety of graphs, charts and reporting styles are offered. Building a custom front end enables network managers to deliver automated personalized content to everyone in the organization that requires it. From the same platform CTOs can be provided with a single screen high level overview of network service levels while regional engineers are provided with detailed troubleshooting information.

The addition of the SNMPc Online module allows Castle Rock Computing to deliver a single source network management solution capable of scaling from as few as fifty devices to tens of thousands.

Network managers can use SNMPc OnLine 2007 and Microsoft Visio® to create a graphical representation of their network infrastructure, presenting a highly customized management interface from any web browser.

By learning how to use the product effectively, customers can exploit the full potential of the SNMPc solution as well as reducing the time taken to address faults. The training covers all aspects of SNMPc and includes sections on best practice and upgrade procedures.

As a Castle Rock SNMPc training partner all training is provided by experienced product experts. Teneo trainers receive ongoing training so that they are familiar with all aspects of the product, including functionality contained in the newest product releases. Teneo courses are customized around the client's specific requirements and are often linked to installations. Training typically follows a set agenda or we can provide bespoke content tailored to your requirements as appropriate.

Web training

If you want further training on SNMPc but don't have the time or budget for our onsite training, then Teneo offers a two-hour web based training course.

Ideal for organizations that want an overview course for delegates where onsite training is not practical or appropriate, our web based training covers the basic information required to get started with SNMPc and can be delivered at a time of day that suits the customer.

Audit

Teneo recommends regular on site audits to ensure that the SNMPc system is running at its optimum level. Our consultant will attend site and undertake a series of health checks covering SNMPc and the server it is running on.

Service assurance

Teneo recommends that its SNMPc customers invest in its SNMPc Service Assurance programme. Service Assurance is a set number of engineer days purchased at a preferential rate on an annual basis. Typically bought in batches of four, to allow quarterly site visits, Service Assurance days are used to undertake audits, consultancy or training, ensuring that the SNMPc system is always running at an optimal level.
