The Riverbed product family includes Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Riverbed’s Steelhead Mobile software.

Both solutions enable wide-area data services (WDS) for organizations of all sizes. These products make it easy for organizations to accelerate the applications that are most important to their users, anywhere in the world.

Deployment of Riverbed Steelhead appliances help to solve the following problems:

The optional Central Management Console (CMC) appliance, allows organizations to configure and manage many Steelhead appliances simultaneously. The CMC allows group management of devices, dynamic reporting, scheduled operations, over-the-wire software upgrades, and automatic ‘touch less’ setup of new Steelhead appliances in your network.
